Dave Budge
Dave is the co-founder of ‘Jaunt’ which up-cycles iconic four-wheel-drives into electric vehicles to explore Australia. Jaunt partners with communities to source, convert and operate a regional car-share network. Building electric vehicles for the Australian imagination, and a car-share built for adventure in the country, not traffic in the city.
Dave has worked at the intersection of technology, user experience and communication for twenty years, working with some of the world’s largest (and smallest) organisations, most recently as the Executive Director of Design and Head of Innovation at Isobar Australia. Over his career Dave has built virtual reality platforms in Asia, directed TV series in Europe, and designed scoreboard systems for the Australia’s biggest stadiums. Essentially, he’s tried to use emerging technology to make beautiful things that are truly useful.
With Jaunt, Dave is combining his experience in automotive marketing and user experience, his passion for adventure travel, his hobby of electronics, his desire to bring innovation to regional areas, and his dream of Australia eventually being something other than terrible in terms of transport emissions.

SolarTuk Expedition Embarked on Epic Adventure to Promote Sustainable Transport
The humble tuk tuk, also known as an auto-rickshaw, is used by millions of people around the world for their daily commute. They're loud, dirty, small and fun. But what they're not known for is being part of a sustainable transport future, or as the vehicle of choice for a long-distance expedition. Until now. Last year, a team of young Australians has re-engineered a Thai-made tuk-tuk into a three-wheeled, solar-powered, long-range electric vehicle as part of an epic project to promote sustainable transport and a low-carbon future. |

Eva Håkansson - Cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances
Eva will be coming back to the EV Expo after competing with "KillaJoule" at the DLRA at Lake Gairdner in South Australia. Find out how she went and all the latest news on "GreenEnvy".
Eva is a mechanical engineer and the main builder of her electric streamliner motorcycle the "KillaJoule", which is the world's fastest electric motorcycle.
Despite an obsession with everything fast, it is not the need for speed that is Eva's main drive, as strange as it may sound. She has a mission in her life: To show that eco-friendly electric vehicles don't have to be slow, and that engineering is a great career choice for women. She also loves building stuff that has never been built before.
She is also officially the world's fastest female motorcycle rider with an official world record at 400.2 km/h and a top speed of 434 km/h.
